After graduating from Tourism College, Andreas Perklitsch worked several years for the international 5-star hotel industry. Working as the Human Resources Manager for the Dutch Logistics Group Nedlloyd, he managed the personnel for their branches in Austria, Hungary, and The Czech Republic.

During this time, he attended the Management Academy of the University of Salzburg and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Economics Management. From 1999 to 2007, Andreas was Director of the Austrian Branch of the largest private education company in Austria and member of their management board. As a consultant for Neumann & Partners, he worked with the pharmaceutical sector as well as with various industrial and IT clientele.

Andreas Perklitsch is the Founding and Managing Partner of Mediatum Austria.
