After receiving specialized training in banking, Christoph Boehringer pursued and received a degree in engineering from the renowned Technical University of Munich. He moved on to join the team of J.P. Morgan in London and New York where he trained and worked in finance, investments, banking, and M&A.

Together with Dirk Wilken he founded Mediatum GmbH and CD-Venture GmbH. The resulting network built the foundation for the ongoing success of Mediatum.

Together with Dirk, he additionally heads the Holding Mediatum International and is responsible for the international expansion of the highly specialized and successful recruiting company.

Since 1997, Christoph has also been a member of the shareholder committee of Boehringer Ingelheim. In addition to his multiple supervisory board responsibilities, Christoph supports start-ups as a so-called Business Angel and is involved in the founding of numerous companies.
